China Part II(Suzhou City Tour )

We start on our journey touring around in Suzhou city. We only had light breakfast as bread and butter because the hotel did not prepare any halal food. We head on to our first destination to the Couple’s Garden Retreat.

As we enter the garden there are many Chinese architecture that influence the structure of buildings in the garden, stated that the garden was built by Lu Jin a prefect from the Baoning district in 1874. The garden was named as a Couple’s Garden Retreat as the garden has two section making it a couple. We finished our tour by riding a boat from the back of the garden canal to the canal in front near the gate.

As we head on to our next destination that is the Suzhou teater we stopped by a halal restaurant to have our meal. The cuisine is quite similar as what we had yesterday. As we arrived to the theatre it was already dusk. We prayed at the theatre open space as they did not have any mosque there.

The Chinese Orchestra

As the show started I was impressed as their synchronize with each other is good as they play the same instrument . The shows goes on a play in a Chinese dialogue as we only gist of the play as they were talking in Chinese. The show ended late , we gone back on the bus to go back our hotel. As soon were reached the hotel manage to eat a light dinner that one of my mother’s friend prepared a Rendang Tok from Malaysia. We slept for the day as usual I am not well with the timing for subuh and ended up in getting late. I prayed before the sunrises and continue to ready for our next long journey to Shanghai. I shall continue my story in my next post.
